I'll need another set of wheels to mount my current AS tires onto or the summer tires I will eventually buy for autocross. To keep cost down I am specifically looking at other OEM 4x100 wheels. I am trying to be more creative than just another stock set of NA Miata wheels. Wheels could be in either 14" or 15" sizes. I like the R81 wheels that were available on Mini Coopers but I am having trouble finding them.

Old E30 rims should fit your needs

What car did they originally come on?

Didn't read OEM, my bad. They did have OEM BBS wheels though.

Maybe go with some S30 Z wheels, if they'll fit?

Nissan had some wild OEM designs. There's a bunch of listed styles here: http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/whe…

I would love those but they still seem to command a $500 or so price from people, and they are harder to find.

Cool, I would think I could find these in a junk yard somewhere.

Keep in mind, most of them are iron wheels and are heaaavy but they'll have great resale because of their status on Zs, while still being plentiful enough to find junked.

I am concerned about weight but I am not expecting RPF1 lightness.

Your 8 series? Go find a set of M1 wheels.

Some of the wheel weights are listed here:

http://www.superhonda.com/tech/wheel_wei…

The cast iron ones off the ZX are 18lbs, so expect around that. It's not terrible for a 14" rim, but if you can score some of the Turbo wheels (which I doubt you'll find in a junkyard, they're quite valuable) you'll keep weight below 15lbs.

Yeah, these are the ones you want, the 6-spokes:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/82-83-Dats…

They're the lightest of the bunch at 13lbs, found on the '81-'83 280ZX N/A.

Unfortunately, I can't find much out about the S30 as I can about the S130 wheels, but its a start.

Don't think those could work since they are 4x114.3. But that wheel weight table should be pretty useful.
